One Bundle of Pineapple Fibre

15min ago, I got a Bundle of Pineapple Fibre stuck in my throat. Yes, one bundle.
Then I swallow 2 more pieces of papaya, hopefully I can get it down my throat, but it did not.
Then one cup of water, which only got me bloated.
Then one mouthful of rice, which only got me even more bloated.
Then 3 bundles of vegetable, but it still did not help.
Then I "almost" vomit from the bloating plus uncomfy in the throat.
Finally I vomit out the bundle of fibre.

原来... choked by pineapple really felt terrible.

Busy

Recently got a bit busy. Still manageable, just that sometimes feel like having a bit more time for myself and other stuff. Anyway, some random stuff that I suddenly feel like posting.

80-20 rule aka Pareto principle or Pareto efficiency
The law of the vital few, and the principle of factor sparsity, states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.

I got to know this few years back, which I agree (wah! I found another 知己... Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto). I believe effort should be spend on the most significant vital few. Maybe that's why I am never the "Best", at most "above average".

Birthday 2009

Yo! Birthday post 2009.
Though I don't think a big deal of my birthday, but the thoughts that friends and family put in is worth much more than the day itself.

Mama was complaining I have no time for them. Fully booked from Eve's eve night to eve. And flying off on bday itself. (*Opps*). So we went one week in advance.

Friday night had dinner with JYing, PF, SL, WL, XH, SM, PH, and the late YY.

KBox @ Kallang on eve of my Birthday. 不知不觉 this is the 3rd bday with them already. 1st one was during Yr2 Sem 1 Exam period at benches outside LT, 2nd one during Yr3 Sem 1 IA period at IMM, and this 3rd one at KBox making full use of the member promo. Thanks TK, SZ, ZR, ML, Laoban and Laoban-niang for coming. 辛苦了 for organising.

First biz trip on bday leh! The weird custom officer actually wrote this on my entry card. Can write anything you want on the card meh? So weird!


The hotel check-in staff saw my bday on passport and sent in a pot of flower and a card. First time receive a "pot" of flower.

Birthday 2009 is kind of special, because this is the first time I get an extra hour of birthday. 25hours of Bday! Why? Because VN is one hour later than SG, so strictly speaking, 1 get one hour extra by going there. (*must be too bored at the hotel, that's why came up with such nonsense idea*)

For all the sms-es, greetings, cards, birthday songs, lunches and dinners, thank you all. You make my birthday seems more important than I thought.

Overtime

Today OT-ed till 9pm. So far the latest I've stayed in office. Until I was the only person in the office. Anyway, today's OT is good, managed to do the stuff I wanted to.

Oh, look like my previous post is on Vietnam trip. I will be going to Vietnam again coming week. 1st Biz Trip on my 1st job on my 1st Bday after leaving school. Pie-mia huh?!
