On Leave

One morning of ah-zhai-ing, sleeping till noon. Then woke to do some housework, clearing dust and some packing. Wah, so dusty.

Evening went Iluma to watch 十月围城. So many people queuing for movie lo, monday really is blue hor?.. Anyway, Bodyguards And Assassins is a heavy hearted movie, though some parts are pretty laughable (like Leon Lai seems to 路过 from the next door 风云II, appearing as a rebonded hair 武林高手). Some very good acting from 梁家辉, 王学圻, 甄子丹 and 谢霆锋. Worth the watch.

A day-off well spent living.

Runny nose... again?!

Opps... started to have runny nose again since yesterday. I will get well soon, like... by tomorrow morning.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

70 min left to end of 2009's Christmas. Here's wishing all Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

As stunned as "huh?!"

I've always thought that I am a ah zhai with boring life. But life has amused me. In time of least expected, ripples in mundane days tickle and stun me. Like coming across weird 路人甲乙丙丁. Drama scenes that got me stunned with many "huh?!".

With safety advise like "小心，小心，再小心", shampoo that goes "follow me", head spinning like merry-go-round, and sms that JP JE 傻傻分不清楚...

Yea, one week of drama passed... whoever that knows what I am referring to... go ahead and laugh... hahahaha!

Penang Dec 09

Made a short trip to Penang on 8-10 Dec 09 last tues to thurs with JYing and SL.

Sunny good weather for all three days, contrary to the weather forecast of Thunder Storm which JYing saw. Keep eating, till my sore throat and cough cant recover.

Happen to "pass-by" the 槟城孙中山纪念馆. Was looking for a place for lunch, when we pass-by, then visited after our lunch.

Tram up Penang Hill. About 700-800m hill, the tram rail is splitted into 2 sections. So need to wait at the middle station to change tram. It is abit like Hong Kong's tram up to The Peak. But the tram is a more lok-kok version. Very cramp and warm.

The food we had at Gurney Drive, one of the popular hawker centre along the seaside. The more famous local food are Char Kway Teow, Asam Laksa, Rojak, and dessert. Eh... other food didnt take photo.

The other famous temple Snake Temple (蛇庙). Alot of snake ar!!!!

Peranakan Musuem. Part of the 小娘惹 was film there. The stairs look familiar?

And the Nyona dinning table.

The Toy Museum. Captain Jack Sparrow!! This one really look like him.

And 华仔. So cute.

Teletubbies, especially for YY. Haha! Anyway, the museum is more like exhibition of many many figurines. A poorly decorated and cramp place with alot of figures. Unlike the usual museum in Singapore, one big shelf put one item.

Wah! Smeagol, my friend! My most looked forward "person" to meet in the museum.

Penang Butterfly Farm. So SCARY! The moment you step passed the blinds, alot of butterflies flying everywhere. So 恐怖!! And these creatures are not human-shy, they ll fly and land on you!

很写实的照片. Me with leaflet to cover my face and cap to protect my head, in a couching position ready to siam the butterflies anytime they approach me.

The beach at Penang, actually quite a nice place to have water sports.
