REAL HOLIDAY!!!

The start of real holiday~! so happy, so enjoyable, so nice, so lazy, so my-style! hahaha... today..(or maybe yesterday) is the real start of my holiday!!! the jiayee's style holiday, laze at home, sleep like nobody's business, and watch dvd and tv, and ignore all other ppl, do things that i like, roar as i want. ahahaha! so happy~~~.

cos the past few days have been going out, with my roomie, and with my friends. showing roomie around, and mesmerising her with the food around my place... muahahah!!! she is soooo enticed by carrot cake (aka cai tou kui). haha.

oh~ it's rainy season now, real cold, and sometimes unpredictable weather too. people out there please take care of yourself, remember to eat well and sleep well. dun tired out. especially those already sick de... (hmpf, you should know who you are... the one with stomach flu and big hole in the mouth, and the one who vomitted and headache... ).

YEAH! finally my holiday arrived! REAL holiday! so happy.

oh, today is my last day of work. i have been working since 1st Dec, right after exam on 30Nov. so basically i din rest until now. BUT! tml i ll wake early to do a tidy up of the entire house still, because my roomie is coming over to stay for a couple of days! haha.

bout my work today, i cultivate super-patience in myself. download and do system scan of virus and spyware for my boss's computer (which did not do window update, no antivirus, no spyware removal, no firewall update, and is bugs infested). the most horrid part is the internet connection... is a 52kbps that is downloading at 2kb/s. can u imagine? to download a 11Mb, i waited for 1 and half hours! in the end, AVG failed to install because of the "already-existing" spyware. and i have to download even more things to clear the bugs and worms and trogan. when everything is finally done after lightyears of waiting and 花儿也谢了. me finally run a scan... incomplete scan due to time constrain already dig out 133 infected files. my god. that computer is 中毒很深. hmm... shall not grumble bout the comp anymore...

but i have a 深切的感慨... people, if you all still didn't have a strong and up-to-date antivirus and spyware removal... please~ go get one quick. is it important ok! dun wait till problem arise then panick. and if some people out there are lost... here's some that you can use...

AVG... www.grisoft.com (my bro use this... and they have a spyware removal too! my bro highly recommend AVG)
Spybot... www.spybot.com (spyware remover that is free.. easy to use.. average grade)
Lavasoft... www.lavasoft.com (adware remover.. easy to use too)
Trendmicro housecall... www.trendmicro.com (available free online virus scan. but limited capability in deleting/repairing the virus)

anyway... I am gonna share a joke today... my evil demon bro say it's not joke of the day/week/month/year... it is joke of the decade. what duh?! how can say me like that.?!

my office now only have me, my supervisor and the cleaner aunty that comes during afternoon to clean up the place (the rest on leave). and last fri, when i came back from the washroom, i overheard their conversation... they speak in cantonese, but me understand... haha...they say... "Jia Yee 很乖 hor"..."Hai-lor hai-lor. 看她样子就知道，静静的，很乖的."... and they continue... saying how good a girl i am. today, they repeated that again. hahah!!! i am right there, and they say... "jia yee is very good girl"... "can see her mum must dotes her very much. so lovable hor~?" and she turn to me and ask..."jia yee ar... ur mum loves u alot hor?"... me feel sooo... so... 心虚. hahah!!! ok... my mum loves me la.. but... hmm... hahah...never mind. yea...

me felt exploited lo! where got people hire "admin-cum-receptionist" to do translation de? should pay more lo! very TOUGH job leh... make my hair drop and braincell pops (bursting that is). ROAR!
but there's always the good side to everything, time spent pondering over the terms passby quicker. very soon... it is home sweet home time. haha.

ENDURE~ Thee shall. i can see rays of light shining upon me on 15dec, when i have money to spend for the remaining of the holiday. i can sleep like nobody business once and again. muahahhahah!!!!! @@ forward ar... 向前看 & 向钱看. for them two, thee shall endure! hahahh! yesh de... very fast... 8 more working days only.

when is the last time u all use a Window 98 computer that runs at 64MB Ram and harddisk space of 9GB and having to open a ulu chinese software to read chinese words??? cant remember???! me too! but my ulu company now uses that!
Oh My 天! i cannot imagine how they stand that kinda speed. juz using it for one day typing word doc already frusfrate me... let alone surfing net... and they use 56k pacific net... grrr~~~ (@_@)U. so scary. that s why i dun even wanna try using that to do my subject registration. i intend to let my bro help me in the end. hm... the ironical part?! they use a rather new and good HP printer... so dotz right... get a good and new printer... but a darn lao-ya lok-kok computer... diaoz... dunnoe what they thinking de. hahha! everybody... let us thank for the blessing that heaven befalls on us... that we dun have to use that computer for Mathematica or C-programming. (*pray pray*).

back to the subject registration, the system is so screwed up.. they say CBE yr2 are to register on 05dec 1130, but then, somehow few of us have to register today 04dec 1200, unknowingly, we missed the time, and were frantically trying to register whatever we need in the LAST minute. ROAR! hopefully the rest of them can successfully register for the tut-group and lab-group. and i have assigned my demon bro the utmost important task of helping me do any registration tml (if necessary). hopefully everything goes smoothly. (*pray pray*). Yesh de. Pray darn hard. and ATPs out there, if u see "JiaYee" log on to msn tml... that's my bro... PLEASE~~~ help him along... he's darn blur de.. dun wan me to end up in some strange tut group with weird people. hahha... 拜托了!

1st day of work

yesterday was my first day of work... and i am already counting down to end of work. hahah! 1 down, 9 to go!!! looking forwards to 15dec le! then the real holiday shall start. muahahhah!!!

it ended up very similar job as my previous admin job. i sit right in front of the main door, as a receptionist. then, answer incoming phone call..."Good morning. XXX Automation.....i transfer your call... a moment pls." and i need to do phone-calling too... then job that i hated most... grr~ "good afternoon! XXX automation...may i speak to YYY pls? i would like to do a follow up on our quotation send on XX/YY/2006... .....blah blah blah" So irritating... feel like slamming the phone.
and somehow.. again.. i m being exploited as the admin-cum-receptionist to become Translater.. i got translation job to do again.. the 1st on is on vetting through the Eng-to-Chi translation done. to check if all are correctly done.. guess the topic???? hahahh~ the proposal is about "Municipal Waste-To-Energy. Using Biomass energy and Organic Rankine Cycle" My GOD! is like thermo-cum-environmental mgt modules. read and read... about the benefits of using biomass energy converting system... and how the organic rankine cycle is useful and efficient. soooo familiar. and indeed i learn alot more. anyway... the boss say the english version is written in America... and the chinese translation by china ppl... but! the english is HORRID... must be written by an engineer... no language 可言. imagine he write... "...considering the environmental side".... "side"..... so dotz... environmental aspect/issue all sounds better lo! side... dotz... "we have solid foundation" dotz... solid... so... so... ah beng sound-alike. but the chinese translation also abit pengz de... "Work Process" become "工作程序"...isnt it "运作程序" better? haiz... but hor... cannot complain too much... cos my next task on list is to do one whole eng-chi translation on monday.. die le... later super horrid..
should pay me more right... translation should pay more lo... not "admin" neither is it "reception" job leh! grumble grumble...
nevermind... better than calling... and i m already looking forward to 15dec le... last day of work... the real holiday shall start.

and today... i sooo powerful.. really sleep till "my bro thought i m dead"... i slept from 3am to
7pm!!! night time... till he wake me for dinner. my god... i m so powerful! hahhaha!
