Vietnam HCMC Trip

Went for a short 3D2N Vietnam Ho Chi Min City (also known as Saigon) trip with my family & their workers on 09-11 Oct 09. Warmly hosted by my vietnamese ex-roomie's family. Many thanks to them.

Here's some pictures.

Very big room for 2 persons right. That's my evil bro, bring along his laptop to do stuff at night... make me sleep with all lights on.

This is the bathroom.

View from the hotel room I stayed. Their building are quite short and disorganised.

The cables there are stunning. Look so complicated. The electricians there must be super skilled and good at puzzle.

The entrance of Independence Palace.

The basement of Independence Palace is a military base for the president in the past. Now it is museum for these old old type writter/ telegraph/ maps etc.

One of the display in the Independence Palace, real elephant legs!

A day trip to Mekong River. Papa held the BeeZZ. I poked my hand in to taste the honey too. Can't imagined I did that, the bees are just beside my finger when I go steal their food.

Papa's another brave attempt to hold the snake. This snake must be a handsome/ pretty one. Cos it is meant for photo taking... it's friends? .....

Less fortunate obviously. Horribly drunk in bottle. I had a sip of the wine (from the biggest bottle). The small bottles are for purchase, cost bout S$4-15 depending on the size.

Coconut candy making on Coconut Island. No preservative added.

River boat ride. Their river is as cramp as the road... narrow river but many many boat squeeze their way pass each other.

Me.

Star of the day. So excited to see a bufflo! Haha. I think city ah zhai very sua-gu. Never see a moo-moo so close before.

Lotus along the toilet. Alot of places grow lotus, I think they like it.
10 of us at my ex-roomie's house for lunch before we left for airport.
HCMC airport... while waiting to board. Oh! I was the 1st person to board the plane lo! Just happen that we sat near the boarding gate. Ha.
